NEWS - the National Aspergillosis Centre launched

The National Aspergillosis Centre based at the University Hospital South Manchester (Wythenshawe), UK was formally opened on 1st May 2009 by Dr Geoff Scott, Consultant Microbiologist, University College Hospital, London (retired) and chairman of the Fungal Research Trust.

The Fungal Research Trust has close associations with the new centre and has had for many years, funding several research projects and the Aspergillus Website which is also based at UHSM, Wythenshawe.
